January 20, 2010

An online library of 3D CAD models of Miele’s product range for use in drawings, renders and fly-throughs.

An online library of 100 per cent accurate 3D CAD models of the Miele product range for use in architectural drawings, renders and fly-throughs.

Miele Australia’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) website revolutionises the way architects, specifiers and builders plan kitchen and laundry designs with Miele appliances.

The information-rich BIM website presents a library of architectural 3D models of Miele’s product range for use in architectural drawings, renders and fly-throughs.

Since the launch of this Miele-first initiative some five months ago, more than 300 building and design professionals from around Australia have already taken advantage of this valuable resource and signed up for access to the Miele BIM files.

Files are available in Autodesk, Revit Architecture, AutoCAD Architecture, Autodesk 3ds Max and other 3D software that can be imported into Graphisoft ArchiCAD, Nemetschek Vectorworks, Google SketchUp, DataCAD and Bentley MicroStation.

To accompany each product’s BIM file, a PDF document containing a 3D render, product features, installation drawings and technical data can be downloaded to provide a comprehensive overview of all the necessary information required for planning purposes.
