Premier design exhibition Design:Made:Trade will again mark the opening of Victorias State of Design Festival in 2011, with a four-day event located at Melbournes Royal Exhibition Building.
Taking place from Thursday 21 Sunday 24 July 2011, Design:Made:Trade will feature a program of workshops, talks, exhibitions and displays with a particular focus on driving strong industry attendance. The growing trade event, now in its fourth year, has proved an important part of Victorias design festival, with visitor numbers in 2010 up 40 percent on the previous year.
Applications are now open for furniture, fashion and industrial design brands that wish to participate in this years exhibition, which organisers expect will attract more than 5,000 trade visitors in 2011.
Key elements of this years trade fair include the Design Embassy, offering attendees and exhibitors a space to network; and Lightsource, a showcase of the latest lighting products held alongside Design:Made:Trade.
For details and information on participating at Design:Made:Trade 2011, contact Keith Knox from Australian Exhibitions and Conferences on 03 9654 7773, or email@example.com

Few furniture designs withstand the test of time as well as the HÅG Capisco. Established as a seating icon for over 30 years, the chair is as popular and contemporary today, as the day it was launched.
