Submissions are currently open for the 2009 Horbury Hunt Award, inviting architects, designers, builders and brick manufacturers to nominate a recent project they feel exemplifies the best brickwork Australia has to offer.
Award categories include residential, commercial and landscape. To nominate a project, you must be registered with Think Brick Australia and projects must be built predominantly in clay face brickwork, or use clay pavers or bricks for the landscape category.
The 2008 Horbury Hunt Award winner was the Mornington Centre by Lyons Architects, with a High Commendation going to The Nigel Peck Centre for Learning and Leadership, Melbourne Grammar School by John Wardle Architects.
Entries close 19 June 2009, with the winner announced 24 September 2009.
