Students: Check into RE:HAB

The 2009 Congress for Australian and New Zealand architecture students: engaging news ways of thinking since the 1960s.

The 2009 Australia and New Zealand Student Architecture Congress, RE:HAB, is five days of design and debate examining contemporary issues and the future responsibilities of the architect.

Held for the first time in Canberra since 1989, the Congress is guided by an exploratory brief and an impressive array of guest speakers, students and professionals from around the world.

This year’s speakers include include Glenn Murcutt, Sean Godsell, Richard Goodwin, Andrew Maynard, Dan Hill, Adam Haddow and Anthony Burke.

The congress has been fostering new thinking since the 1960s and is considered by most to be a once in a lifetime experience – the highlight of an education.
