Intergrain Timber Vision Awards entries extended

Intergrain has extended the submission cut-off date for this year’s Intergrain Timber Vision Awards by two weeks, giving design professionals until 5pm on Tuesday 14 July to submit their latest timber projects for consideration.

Entering its sixth year, the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards aims to acknowledge and celebrate the use of timber and innovative projects featuring timber applications. Intergrain has extended their submission cut-off date for this year’s award by two weeks, giving design professionals until 5pm on Tuesday 14 July to submit their latest timber projects for consideration.

This year, joining the existing categories of Exterior Residential, Interior Residential, Exterior Commercial and Interior Commercial are the new Public Space and Student categories, creating a diverse range of project submissions.

All entries are to be judged by several prolific professionals in the Australian Design Industry including; Richard Kirk – principal director of KIRK; Jane Irwin – landscape architect; Cameron Bruhn – Architecture Media and Kendra Pinkus – associate director at Bates Smart.

Winners this year will receive a $2000 cash prize, an Intergrain product valued at $3000, and much coveted national exposure.

“As timber continues to play an integral role in Australian architecture, the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards provides a platform for the evolution of structural use and new aesthetics, pushing the boundaries of timber application. We can’t wait to see the variety of timber projects unfold this year,” said Amanda Chalmers, Intergrain brand manager.

Entries now close on Tuesday 14 July 2015. The winners will be announced in August at the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards breakfast to be held in Melbourne.
