Bang & Olufsen unveils BeoVision Avant

July 3, 2014

Rather than arranging the room around a TV, BeoVision Avant’s new stand design offers the flexibility to turn the television in any direction.

Bang & Olufsen has recently launched its latest television – the BeoVision Avant. The new TV has been conceived to last in a changing digital world, which allows it to work seamlessly with all devices and content sources off all kinds.

“Our research shows that consumers want more and more from their televisions,” said BeoVision Avant CEO Tue Mantoni. “[The] new BeoVision Avant will set the standard for what should be expected from a television in the future.”

The designers have created a discrete but powerful sound panel that unfolds when the TV is on and retreats inside when turned off. The movement of the sound panel are coordinated with those of the stand structure, which means the TV becomes ready for viewing in one choreographed flow.

The new stand program includes walls, floor and table options, which helps integrating the television with any style of décor. Rather than arranging the room around a TV, BeoVision Avant’s innovative stand design offers the flexibility to turn the television in any direction of the room.

The new Chromatic Room Adaptation feature – which includes two light sensors – adjusts the screen to integrate with the colour tones of the room and the surrounding light. Owing to the eight driver units and eight dedicated built-in amplifiers, the BeoVision Avant produces impressive sound effects. The launch of the TV is accompanied by the new BeoRemote One – an innovative design in remote control device.
