Consense 2014: Meet the Leaders of Sustainability

With the aim of bringing together experts of sustainability in design from around the world, Consense 2014 will feature topic forums with renowned architects, a trade fair and many other special shows.

The international trade fair and congress for sustainable building, investment, operations and maintenance, Consense 2014 will take place from 1 to 2 July in Stuttgart, Germany.

With the aim of bringing together the leaders of sustainability from around the world, the event will include topic forums with internationally renowned architects and industry experts, a trade fair and many other special shows.

The congress will offer the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts from all over the world and to expand specialist knowledge in plenary sessions, intensive workshops and seminars. The first day will bring investors and communities to the fore, while the second day will lay focus on planners and architects.

To open the plenary session prominent speakers will answer questions posed by Dr. Günther Bachmann, General Secretary of the Council for Sustainable Development. Well-known international architects will participate in the session, including Diébédo Francis Kéré, Jean-Philippe Vassal and Kjetil Trædal Thorsen.

The VDI Society Civil Engineering and Building Services (VDI-GBG) will also present the winners of their design competition ‘Sustainable wooden hotel’ in a poster exhibition.

The programme has been organised in partnership by Messe Stuttgart and DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council).
