Pecha Kucha Night

April 16, 2009

10 presenters, 20 seconds, 20 designs

Pecha Kucha Night was conceived in 2003 as an event where young designers are able to meet, network and show their work to peers and the public.
Each speaker presents 20 images shown for 20 seconds, giving designers both a venue to talk about their work and time to do it within –just not too much time.
This years’ Melbourne Pecha Kucha Night is at The Toff Stage Bar on the 28th of April.

Speakers so far include:
* Jeremy Wortsman – designer, publisher, artist representative
* Nadja Mott – stylist and hair/make up artist
* Marc Pascal – industrial designer
* Sam Slicer – 3D visualisation
* Stuart Harrison – architect and presenter on 3RRR’s ‘The Architects’
* Sally Smart – artist
* Nick Bastin – jeweller
* Halcyon Shellam – actor
