Kohler introduces new bathroom range

February 19, 2014

The new range is designed to add the illusion of space inside any bathroom irrespective of its size.

The current trend in bathroom design is to follow a minimalist approach – more covered storage area and wall-hung fixtures such as vanities and toilets. This also helps in creating more space or, at least, the illusion of more space. With this visual trickery in mind, Kohler has recently launched a new range of bath furnishings that aim to add the illusion of space inside any bathroom irrespective of its size.

The new range is called Escale and includes baths, basins, toilet suites and shower accessories. For those with space, there is a free-standing sculptural bath with or without a ‘bubble massage’ feature. And for those with space, Kohler has a number of conventional built-in baths that also feature the ‘bubble massage’ technology.

The range also includes a 40-inch bench top basin with an integrated counter space. The basin is designed to sit atop any vanity or cabinet of choice. To complete the look, there is a new sculptural mixer tap in a stainless steel finish.

The new back-to-wall toilet suite comes with a concealed cistern tank and enhances the feeling of space.

Among the new shower accessories, the Flipside showerhead can be used inside shower cubicles of any size. It comes in a stainless steel finish and has four spray functions at the flip of the head.
