Architectus Melbourne announced this week their appointment of Mark Wilde as managing director. Wilde replaces David Sainsbery, who held the position at Architectus Melbourne for six years.

Mark Wilde

Wilde joined Architectus Melbourne in 1984 and was appointed director in 1992. Significant projects that Wilde has worked on include national distribution centres for the Coles Group, Qantas Heavy Maintenance Facility, the Gold Coast Rapid Transit light rail project and the new Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law (as part of a greater design directorate).

Outgoing managing director Sainsbery, who will continue with the firm as director, welcomed Wilde: “As two of the earliest practice members, we share the corporate memory of the practice, along with many achievements, over a 20-year period. Mark is held in the highest regard by all colleagues and staff. His appointment makes enormous sense and I’m sure our clients will be very well served by it.”
