Fill the gap in Corporate Culture’s collection for the 2011 Design Journey competition.

Corporate Culture’’s annual competition, Design Journey, offers Australian and New Zealand designers an opportunity to design a new piece for the Corporate Culture collection.

For Design Journey 2011, entrants are challenged to identify a gap in the Corporate Culture collection, and then create a design that would fill that gap.

Based on the European approach to design –– which sees designers and manufacturers working collaboratively to produce new objects –– Design Journey encourages designers to engage with the company’’s existing collection and design a piece that would compliment, and add to, the current collection. Entrants are expected to understand the needs, capabilities and expectations of the business before starting the design process.

The winning designer will not only get his/her idea in the spotlight, but will also potentially see their design put into production.
