With entries open this month, architects and interior designers can now submit their projects into the 2013 Dulux Colour Awards.
Now in its 27th year, the Colour Awards recognises projects that transform the spaces they create with inspirational use of colour. Work will be judged by an esteemed panel of design leaders (yet to be announced), providing an inspirational showcase of colour in the built environment.
Now with seven entry categories and cash prizes, entrants may submit their work to the following categories:
- Commercial Interior
- Commercial Exterior
- Single Residential Interior
- Multi Residential Interior
- Single Residential Exterior
- Multi Residential Exterior
- Student (Years 1–6)
- Grand Prix
In this year’s awards, the Royal Children’s Hospital by Bates Smart Architects & Billard Leece Partnership was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix award, and also took out the Commercial Interior category.
2012 jury member Peter Maddison said entries were assessed according to “the inventive use of colour, and how it affects our emotions”.
