Present your work to Yves Behar

Herman Miller’s new competition offers emerging designers a one-on-one meeting with San Francisco-based designer Yves Behar.

Herman Miller has announced it is hosting acclaimed international designer Yves Behar on a tour to Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne this February. As part of the tour, Herman Miller is offering emerging designers the opportunity to meet Behar for a one-on-one mentoring session.

San Francisco-based Behar, founder of design studio ["fuseproject":], is the designer of Herman Miller’s ["SAYL chair":] and has worked with other international brands including Swarovski, Puma, Coca Cola and Mini Cooper.

Herman Miller has invited emerging designers in fields covering furniture, product, architecture, graphic and fashion design based in Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney or Melbourne to enter the competition by posting an example of their work on the ["Herman Miller Asia Pacific facebook page":].

The winner will meet and present their work to Behar in a one-on-one mentoring session in one of the four cities covered as part of the tour. The winner and three runners up will each receive a SAYL chair, and will have their work featured on the blog.

Entries will be judged on how the design ‘brings stories to life’, how the design can make a positive difference, and the number of responses each post receives.

Entries close Thursday 10 February, winner announced on 13 February.
