Architecture firm PR and Communications Manager

The role will be a varied one and will report directly into the Regional Client Services Leader. You will be responsible for driving all PR and Communications Activities across Australia and be involved in strategic planning with the senior leadership team.

This architecture studio have offices across Australia and the world, and have over 1000 employees. They specialise in key sectors including aviation and Lifestyle and do both Architecture and Interior Design projects.

The Role

The role will be a varied one and will report directly into the Regional Client Services Leader. You will be responsible for driving all PR and Communications Activities across Australia and be involved in strategic planning with the senior leadership team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Management of PR activities
• Press releases
• Liaising with the media and being the main point of contact
• Identifying relevant projects and case studies
• Monitoring web traffic
• Maintaining website content
• Managing events
• Identifying award opportunities
• Writing and producing client newsletters

The Requirements

• Experience of writing to suit a variety of audiences
• Networking skills
• Proactive and able to generate new ideas and think strategically
• Media contacts and interest/experience in the design/architecture industry
• Software: Microsoft Office, Photoshop and InDesign
• Relevant Degree or equivalent
