The merger of these two brands has opened up the opportunity for a self motivated and driven individual to join the team in a support role. The role is key to the Melbourne Showroom, being responsible for Showroom Sales & Support of the Sales Team.

Your key deliverables will be:

1. Provide sales support to the VIC State Manager & Sales Team
2. Manage walk-in & phone customers by vetting prior to passing to appropriate BDM, manage enquiries for residential customers, execute sales for residential customers
3. Maintain a fresh, clean and visibly appealing Showroom
4. Provide website & communications support to the Communications Manager

Key responsibilities
• Walk-in & phone residential customers
• Showroom maintenance
• Data entry & website maintenance
• Sample management & control
• Administrative support for VIC State Manager
• Maintaining an overall clean & efficient office environment
• Answering phones and directing to appropriate BDM or Project Manager
• Other duties as requested

Key accountabilities
• Appropriate vetting of sales enquiries and passing of contacts with full details
• Management of residential & small walk-in clients
• Liaise with Sydney office to ensure open communication lines
• Showroom appearance

Selection Criteria
• 1 – 2 years experience in a sales environment
• Excellent communication skills
• An ability to think on your feet, act quickly & confidently
• A quick learner
• Highly attuned organisation skills
• Highly computer literate (word, excel, ERP / CRM programs would be beneficial)
• A ‘can do & hands on’ attitude while being a natural ‘helper’
• Keen eye for detail
• A love of people & design
• A team player
