Australia’s longest running design and architecture event, designEX, is looking for a dedicated Sales Executive. For 25 years, designEX has been Australia’s premier interiors, design ideas and architecture event. This role focuses on the architectural interiors sector of the event. Experience in this industry is preferred but not essential.

We are looking for an energetic sales professional who has a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships. Operating in a small team, the role requires an individual who can work autonomously as well as collaborate with colleagues to deliver an overall team result at the event each year.

You should be target driven, work well under pressure and have an interest in the architecture and design industry. To be successful in this team you will understand how important your contribution is to the success of the event and enjoy this responsibility.

Reporting directly to the Exhibition Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Sales of exhibition and sponsorship opportunities nationally
* Management of existing clients and partners
* Identifying new business and revenue opportunities
* Working with show team at events
* Involvement in event planning and features
* Interstate travel
* Attendance at relevant industry events

You will need to be interested in the design industry, self motivated, focused, possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will also have demonstrated B2B sales experience and a proven track record in account management and new business generation.
