This well-established architecture and interior design practice of eight designers offers the ambitious mid-level Architect the opportunity to expand his or her project running capabilities that may elude them in a larger practice on bigger projects. Based on the North Shore in a friendly, collegiate design environment, their staff work across a wide range of projects including healthcare, high-end individual residential, multi-unit residential, commercial, leisure, and hospitality projects.

What this vacancy offers is the unique chance to reach the goal of management responsibility and growth with a company into a position that is a real key part of the firm’s future, and being involved with the business development side of practice.

You will work alongside the sole Director to assist in managing teams through concept design, design development and contract documentation on high-quality design projects in architecture and interiors.

You will have around 5 to 8 years post-graduate experience in Australia including the project types above, preferably including on small-scale healthcare projects and premium residential projects of different scales. Your experience should include management of a team during the various projects stages.

This role will involve client liaison, authority liaison and consultant coordination, requiring the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people, including individual home owners and commercial organisations/institutions.

There is a preference for candidates with Microstation documentation skills and experience, but an outstanding candidate will be offered training in this CAD software. Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop are also skills required for the role.

Salary is negotiable and is expected to be around $65,000 per annum plus or including superannuation.
