A major interstate architectural practice is currently expanding their 12-member Sydney studio team as they gear up for a new hospital project coming into their busy practice. They offer an excellent opportunity for a Project Architect to join them working on a diverse range of projects in a fun, dynamic design environment. They currently are also designing in the Retail, Residential and Commercial sectors.

It is essential you are very experienced in taking on responsibility for medium to large scale new and redevelopment hospital projects in the public and private sectors as well as PPP’s. Working with the Associate Director, you will be the Project Architect contributing to and leading the design development and contract documentation stages of the project.

You will have led documentation teams and held responsibility for the documentation programmes, consultant co-ordination, setting documentation standards and managing QA, etc.

You will have at least 10 years experience with a recognized leading practice in the health sector in Australia and a minimum of 5 years on major health projects in NSW and possibly other states, and preferably be registered in NSW.

This role also entails hands-on documentation responsibilities. Preferably you will be skilled at using AutoCAD and Revit in the design and documentation of major health projects.

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience level.
