An intermediate to senior level Architectural Draftsperson is required in a small studio based in the inner south eastern suburbs.

This small studio has a solid reputation for delivering well designed, contemporary, one-off residential homes in the range of $500K – $1M. As a result of this, their office is busy and they have a number of quality projects currently underway.

To help meet their clients’ demands, your specific responsibilities will focus on design development and documentation.

Ideally, you will be a qualified Architectural Draftsperson (or Architect) with at least 5 years postgraduate experience working on similar, high-end, residential homes valued between $250K – $5M. It’s essential that you have strong technical and construction knowledge, as this role will require you to produce highly detailed construction drawings.

The studio knows what works best in their office and they’re only willing to consider Draftspersons (or Architects) who possess the relevant residential project experience. Unfortunately experience with volume builders or involvement on medium density and apartment developments will not be suitable for this particular position.

Your ability to work confidently and autonomously on AutoCAD is essential, and it would be ideal if you’re proficient on SketchUp, as this program is also used within the office.

This is a contract position that is expected to run for at least 3 months, which will see you working into the New Year.

An anticipated hourly rate between $33.00 – $38.00 per hour plus Superannuation will be on offer, depending on your skills and experience.

An immediate start is required.

To express your interest, please forward your resume and portfolio to Bruce Whetters at brw@bloomfieldtremayne.com.au or for a confidential chat, please contact the office on (03) 9349 1055 and quote reference M14408.
