A respected practice in Launceston specialising in architecture, surveying and engineering has an opening for an experienced contract adminstrator to commence on a contract basis for a 13-month tenure. Senior level experience and extensive knowledge are key to excel in this role!

An architect or specialist contract administrator with upwards of 15 years’ experience in the industry would be ideal. Developed project management skills, knowledge of construction techniques and awareness of construction and procurement trends are mandatory.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day contract administration management and will be leading the administrative components on a number of commercially based projects under construction at the moment, with several expected to go to tender early in the new year.

Duties will be broadly based and will include site inspections, site meetings, processing architects instructions, payment certificates, nominated sub-contracts and defect inspections, to name a few. Your objective will be to ensure all projects achieve their desired design and financial outcomes, meet client requirements and expectations and are delivered in accordance with the strategic planning of the practice.

The right attitude and excellent interpersonal skills could put you ahead of the competition, as our client greatly values people with a friendly, professional, dedicated and hard working approach when it comes to resolving issues as efficiently and effectively as possible.

The hourly rate is dependent on your level of experience and given the projects underway, an immediate start is required.
