The Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF) is moving to Melbourne this year after having been held for 14 years in Sydney.

From 16-19 July, the AIFF will run alongside DÉCOR + DESIGN at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and will feature a number of features, including an International Seminar Series as well as design competition, VIVID.

With a focus on trend forecasting, the International Seminar Series will include key speakers from across the globe, including Victoria Redshaw (UK) – Founder and Lead Trend Forecaster at Scarlet Opus, as well as Interiors Stylist, Author and Lifestyle Blogger, Jason Grant (AUS).

Open to emerging designers and students, the VIVID competition celebrates design and innovation with awards in Student, Concept, Commercial, Lighting and Green categories.

In support of not just the larger producers but also smaller studios and designers, the DESIGN: Bazaar installation, running as part of DÉCOR + DESIGN, will accommodate those with micro production runs. The installation will feature home interior products, ceramics, lighting, furniture and surface artists.

“AIFF has a great following in the design and retail industry for its true reflection of buying trends and innovations in the Australian and International furniture industries, and will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of this industry,” said Chris May, Exhibition Manager at Informa Australia, exhibition organisers.

Register to visit AIFF, or register to exhibit in this year’s fair.
