This art project from Open Haus takes the form of a website and a down-loadable e-book that is "part architectural manifesto, part artistic/architectural proposal and part colouring-in book".

The project's aim is to draw attention to everyday spaces and think about how such spaces impact our lives.

The website includes children's drawings from a Grade 1 and 2 workshop Open Haus held with Frankston Primary School students, as well as an ebook.

People are invited to visit the site and see imagined uses for the pier in the Victorian bayside suburb of Frankston and perhaps add some ideas of their own.

"Imagine if... big floating clouds surrounded the Frankston pier – colourful like the sunset. Bouncy and bright, a place for mermaids to sun bake... What do you imagine the pier could be? We imagine that Frankston pier could be many things, but how do you imagine it?" says the website.

Comments are welcomed and enabled on the website until 28 February 2014.

Imagine Frankston was commissioned by the Frankston White Street Project and sponsored by RMIT Architecture and Design, with financial assistance from Arts Victoria.
