As Australians adopt a European model of living, luxury furniture retailer, DOMO presents 2014’s most anticipated design collaboration, launching Living it Large in Small Spaces.

DOMO’s creative collaboration with renowned Melbourne-based interiors practice, Hecker Guthrie, will showcase its most premium contemporary French furniture brand, Ligne Roset through a two-week long exhibition held at Allpress, located at 80 Rupert Street, Collingwood from Friday 5 September to Friday 19 September 2014.

Responding to Australia’s rise in apartment living and residential down-sizing, the exhibition will display iconic Ligne Roset products, hand selected by Hecker Guthrie’s award-winning directors, Paul Hecker and Hamish Guthrie. The products will be showcased throughout five distinct spaces themed Eat, Live, Sleep, Work and Outdoor.

"After thirty years in furniture retailing, we’ve seen a shift in people’s lifestyle and living requirements and our team recognises the need to cater for apartment living," said DOMO founder Frank Novembre.

"We’re excited to see Hecker Guthrie’s trademark design flair applied to the Ligne Roset range to inspire both the design community and furniture lovers," he added.

Members of the architecture and interiors community will be invited to view the Living it Large in Small Spaces exhibition from Friday 5 September to Friday 19 September by making an appointment by calling DOMO representatives, Jayne Goodall (03) 8803 8810 or Anna Ward (03) 9277 8813.

The exhibition will also be open to the general public from Monday 15 to Friday 19 September from 10am to 5pm (no appointment required).
