This boutique womenswear store is located in Westfield Bondi, Sydney.

The scheme was derived from two core ideas. To create a sense of discovery throughout the store from the entrance, and to achieve an intimate environment, protected and secluded from the rest of the shopping centre.

From the outside, the facade allows initial glimpses into the store, past theatrical window displays and a curved fluted wall that leads into the store. Once inside, the dramatic curved fluted walls continue to wrap the space, so that there are no dead corners.

The sense of discovery is then expressed in the furnishings. The point-of-sale unit, tucked away to minimise the focus on sales and the sales person, is lined in velvet and veneer, with a mirrored wrapping table alongside.

This intimacy continues through into the changing rooms, tucked away behind velvet curtains, protected by a framed mirrored wall, but never cut off from the sales person.
