The new AXA workplace brought together staff from separate sites around Melbourne’s CBD to create ‘one AXA’ and established the institution’s new head office for the Asia Pacific region.
AXA has created a culture that is progressive yet remains committed to its solid heritage within the financial services sector and sought new premises that reflected this.
AXA wanted a contemporary workplace that would be forward thinking and vastly different to what they previously had. The outcome is one that marks a new era for AXA and its people.
The culture AXA sought is supported by the 100% open plan office design and further articulated through the integration of stairs and voids. Staff have the opportunity to engage and socialise with each other in an open and informal setting that the various hubs offer. It is through such elements of the design that staff are connected to a sense of being ‘one AXA’.
