This beach residence, competed in 2005, is located on the south coast of Western Australia, on a wonderful Banksia forest block 1km away from Injidup Beach. The building turns its back on the harsh western weather, creating a sheltered courtyard, with each of the spaces of the house opening onto it. The house, a retreat for family and friends, is positioned to maximise views of the Banksia forest from the upper and lower levels. Like A Workshop’s Lost Highway House, the circulation between living and sleeping spaces is exterior to the property, with the courtyard acting as the main focus of the living area.
The Danish bar stools were originally produced in the mid 1950s and are the first to be released in Workspace’s new 'Origin’s Collection'.
