From the creators of South Melbourne mainstay Dead Man Espresso comes Common Galaxia in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

From the creators of South Melbourne mainstay Dead Man Espresso comes Common Galaxia in Melbourne’s western suburbs. Inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian architecture, Sunkland Project’s design pairs futuristic details with classic timber and metal surfaces. With custom-made furniture, fittings and lighting by Life Space Journey and David Davenport – including a bespoke adjustable height brass pour-over coffee stand– a geometric theme permeates through not only these pieces but also throughout the branding and overall configuration of the fitout. The result is a beautifully resolved design, encompassing everything from the interior aesthetics to the food and coffee itself.
