Paddington Terrace

January 17, 2013

This small, three-metre wide Paddington Terrace took on a new life with an injection of natural light and clever spatial planning.

Designed by Roth Architects, this small three-metre wide Paddington Terrace took on a new life with an injection of natural light and clever spatial planning. The narrow space became comfortable through an open kitchen and naturally lit stairwell. Well-placed glazing introduced the sky as a natural element in the home.

To make the spaces feel larger, cabinetry was placed along one wall allowing for more space. Dark accents were used against white walls to give a sense of lightness.
