Floriade MPS

September 11, 2012

Designed by Townsend + Associates, this new amenities building inside Canberra’s Commonwealth Park provides a design-driven public shelter that has been carefully integrated into the surrounding landscape.

The Multi-Purpose Structure forms part of an upgrade to Canberra’s Commonwealth Park, providing the community with design-driven and safety conscious public amenities, housed beneath a soaring steel framed shelter. The structure sits proudly yet comfortably within the park context, integrated successfully through careful consideration for the surrounding landscape.
