Eureka Tower Apartment

August 20, 2012

Combining a muted colour palette with understated furnishings, this apartment interior by Meme showcases the client’s art collection.

This interior refurbishment relied on a close working relationship between the design team and the client, with the owner’s priceless collection of art, objects, and classic furniture becoming the design focus of the brief.

Meme’s approach was to survey and curate the art, and to customise each room with finely crafted joinery for housing and exhibiting carefully positioned pieces. New furniture and soft furnishings selected are quietly masculine in form and moody in tone. Designed as a comfortable home amongst artwork rather than a museum, the interior is neutral and contrasting to highlight the collection and the client’s individuality.
