Un-built: Australian Rural House, prototype two

August 8, 2011

A variation on Groove Architecture’s Australian Rural House prototype, with an undulating green roof and large windows to channel cool breezes.

This project is a dramatic variation on the Australian Rural House prototype one, which explores beautiful, simpler and faster construction techniques suitable for larger or rural properties. A uniquely Australian formal expression and modular type planning enables flexible configurations from small to large footprints and multi-purpose internal spaces with dramatic relationships to views, breezes and sunlight.

This version of the design features green roofs and huge windows to capture views and channel cooling breezes.
