Interior Design: Adcorp

August 2, 2011

Incorp delivers an open and flexible new workspace for the Melbourne office of advertising agency, Adcorp.

Adcorp are an Australian-owned and operated, full servicing advertising agency. Their new 550sqm Melbourne office, in the Green Star refurbished 500 Collins Street, delivers a workspace that allows for maximum flexibility.

The fitout is driven by ideas of connection and communication. The atmosphere embodies a welcoming culture, with a clean, fresh and professional interior free of complication. Natural light is maximised, with a simple yet bold colour palette.

Planning and space zoning is multifunctional, spacious and allows for future change and growth. Corridors are minimised, with front and back of house connected with circulation through shared service areas including kitchen and utility areas. Practically, the planning resolved a usually isolated receptionist with the connection to the main office and natural light. A modular waiting lounge, cafe and presentation space beside the reception deliver a large format meeting area.

The boardroom and adjoining kitchen provides new collaboration opportunities and, together with a connecting media space, encourages all colleagues to participate. Meeting and collaborative places feature comfortable lounging and communal tables. Furniture is sturdy, flexible and mobile, and can be joined for meetings. Surfaces in the office are for creativity at play. They are pin-able, stick-able textures, combined with a large format media display – perfect for agency workshops and creative-storm sessions.
