Architecture: Fairfax Road Residence

May 4, 2011

Design Studio Group’s residence in Sydney’s Mosman is conceived as a series of pods, stacked together in response to the slope of the site.

This residence is organised as a series of overhanging pods that are stacked together up the sloping site. The stacked elements create an internal courtyard, which provides a sense of relief to the form and also acts as a link between the internal spaces.
