Interior Design: Kryolan Australia

April 13, 2011

Artillery Interior Architecture’s retail space for make-up brand Kryolan features a dramatic organic sculptural element suspended above the main retail space.

Kryolan has been the makeup brand of choice to industry professionals for 66 years, with a well-known dedication to their craft and a range of over 17,000 products.

The fitout for the Kryolan store in Melbourne’s CBD is inspired by the concept of ‘craftsmanship’, with key aesthetic and functional elements of the project handmade by craftsmen. These are complemented by elements created by contemporary processes. White plaster, timber, stone and acrylic were the whispering, material heroes of the project. This neutral selection provides the backdrop for the colourful product range on display inside the shop.
