Interior Design: Marque Lawyers

February 2, 2011

Siren Design’s fitout for new law firm Marque Lawyers blends a practical workspace with fun, relaxed breakout spaces.

Marque Lawyers is a brand new law firm “with a difference”. The brief was to create an open office space with a welcoming, homely atmosphere. Siren took inspiration from the existing heritage building, the firm’s new branding and the client’s brief to produce an open-plan office fitout unlike any other.

A bold yet subtle leather embossed sign and frameless glass entry doors mark the entry to the project. Inside, the lounge-style reception clad in bronze is open and warm, complemented by the eclectic mix of light fittings and use of timber throughout the fitout.

Workstations were custom designed and detailed for Marque Lawyers. Made from plywood, each workstation is a self-contained workspace with a curved visitor access point, allowing staff members to be enclosed yet still accessible.

Overall, the space is joyous yet professional, as well as extremely flexible and practical.
