Recognising locally responsive developments.

The Hume Design Awards have been established to recognise the contribution of architecture and design in the creation of integrated and sustainable cities.
The awards recognise locally responsive developments that contribute to the appearance of the city and provide a benchmark for the quality of future developments. The awards acknowledge and publicise outstanding projects but also importantly offers students to get immersed in the world of design.

Open to a diverse range of disciplines, submissions are called in five categories:
• Residential
• Residential Multiple
• Commercial Industrial
• Landscape Architecture
• Community Pride award
Students within Hume City are encouraged to develop an innovative conceptual design for a public space within the Hume City Council municipality for entry into the Community Pride Award.
