Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award

Entries are now open for one of Australia’s richest and most prestigious design prize.

Bombay Sapphire supports the Australian design community by rewarding and assisting Australia’s most talented emerging designers.

Entries are open to designs that push the boundaries, have personal style and can be fully resolved for manufacturing and retail. The design must also communicate an authentically Australian design aesthetic, reflecting our unique position in the world.

Over 600 of Australia’s most talented young designers have participated in the Award including past winners, Jon Goulder, Adam Goodrum, Lucas Chirnside, Charles Wilson and Trent Jansen.

The Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award Winner will receive $30,000 as financial support, a return trip to Milan to attend the Salone del Mobile in April 2010 and five nights accommodation. Amongst monetary prizes, runners-up and finalists will have the added benefit of meeting and networking with the prestigious judging committee and international guests associated with the Award.
