The Australian International Design Awards is recognised as Australia’s peak design assessment and promotion body, and for its important role in fostering a culture of design and innovation in Australia

Promoting excellence in design and innovation, the Australian Design International Awards will soon announce the short list of finalists for 2009. The entries are now online and range from an innovative office workspace to a spring free trampoline, and a power heated wetsuit to airline seats. The awards are recognised by the Commonwealth Government and the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design as Australia’s peak design assessment and promotion body. All short-listed products now face scrutiny from a panel of international judges who will gather in Sydney in March to look, touch, test and play with entries.
