Miura, designed by Konstantin Grcic for Plank, is an award-winning indoor and outdoor furniture collection. The Miura seating collection includes a stackable bar stool that has won many prestigious design awards and is represented in museum collections around the world. Available in seven colours – black, white, pure orange, traffic red, wine red, light blue and yellow green – the Miura bar stool is made from polypropylene, suitable for both commercial and residential environments.

The Miura table collection includes a range of highly practical folding and stackable tables that have been regularly expanded and upgraded over the years to reflect their enduring success. A range of shapes and sizes are available in round, rectangular and square table tops that sit at varying heights. Easy to fold, stack and store away, the Miura tables can also be easily carted away or moved about by the very handy Miura folding table transport trolley. Colours available include black, white and red.

Konstantin Grcic has been collaborating with Plank for about a decade, exploring and working with the Italian company on technical and material research, focusing on innovative furniture production using a variety of materials. The designer, based in Munich, has designed some exciting pieces of furniture for Plank that includes the Miura collection of tables and bar stools in a selection of bright, bold colours. The dynamic shape of the stools is futuristic and highly ergonomic, resulting in a strong visual and functional harmony.

Plank has been around since 1893. The basic objective has always been the investigation and intensive research for technological possibilities connected to design. In recent years, the Italian company has placed at the centre of its work a strong connection with research, sustainability and design, collaborating with renowned designers such as Konstantin Grcic, Naoto Fukasawa, Björn Dahlström, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, Biagio Cisotti and Sandra Laube. The Plank furniture collection has achieved distinction in a diversity of products, which include chairs, armchairs, lounge seating, table systems, stools.
