Engelbrechts has worked in collaboration with a team of world renowned designers to develop a furniture range ideal for waiting rooms, meeting rooms, canteens, restaurants, conference and educational facilities. Engelbrechts’ mission is to add value to spaces and create happiness for the user by designing around their philosophy.

Each design is aesthetic, sculptural and functional furniture – where everything superfluous is cut away. In 1958, Jørgen Rasmussen designed the Kevi swivel chair. Today the Kevi is an iconic task chair around the world. In 2017 Engelbrechts released the Kevi four leg chair which has been developed using the same seat and back from the original Kevi. This timeless design is available with the choice of timber or metal frame in a variety of finishes.

Engelbrechts has also recently seen the release of a modular shelving unit POISE. Designed by Anders Hermansen, Poise was developed with a simple and sculptural expression. Poise radiates extreme elegance without dominating the room. With endless possibilities to create as you manipulate the shape by placing T sections above or next to one another. With seven different modules to choose from including corner pieces for X, T or L shape designs, it is easy to create a shelving unit which suits your needs.

Engelbrechts also offers a range of tables, chairs and occasional seating. Plateau from Erik Magnussen was released by Engelbrechts in 2009. Sculptural, aesthetic and functional, Plateau is all of these and more. Available in two heights and as an ottoman, Plateau is designed to close in on you. Creating a shell seat with a built-in armrest for you to sit your coffee cup or laptop on as you relax.

Besides Engelbrechts’ philosophy in design, the company is passionate about sustainability. Designs are developed with the environmental impact of a product’s lifetime evaluated. Wherever possible, products should be designed for reuse and recycling. This is achieved by Engelbrechts, with the ability to purchase components separately allowing products to be repaired and not replaced.
