The Stanley Pendant is a beautiful hand-spun collection of brass and copper lights manufactured by British company, BTC lighting.
Hand-spun in Birmingham and assembled in Oxford, the polished pendant features a textured surface created by hammering the copper or brass –creating a shimmering effect on the surface of the metal. A black flex cord suspends the pendants from the ceiling.
The pendants are the creation of designer Peter Bowles, who established BTC lighting in 1990. Bowles’ designs are characterised by an industrial aesthetic, with an elegant collection of simple forms and a material palette that ranges from bone china to aluminium and copper.
The Stanley Pendants are now stocked in Australia through Dunlin Home, a new furniture, lighting and accessories store recently established by Alexandra Bond and Nicholas Barber – the interior designers behind the studio Nicholas and Alexandra.
