Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Vegetal’s web-like appearance is inspired by the structure of plants. The winding shape of the branches form the curving seat and back of the chair.

Made from dyed polyamide, the stackable chairs are available in six colours and are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Vegetal is manufactured by Vitra, and is part of the Vitra Home range. The full Vitra Home range – encompassing designs by the Bouroullecs, Charles & Ray Eames, George Nelson, Jean Prouvé, Verner Panton, Isamu Noguchi, Maarten Van Severen, Jasper Morrison and Hella Jongerius – will be available through Space Furniture in Australia from July 2010.
