Interior Designer

A position for an exceptional interior designer working across high-end retail, residential and hospitality fitouts for this Melbourne practice.

A very rare opportunity has arisen for an exceptional interior designer to join an award-winning studio and assist in the delivery of high-end retail, residential and hospitality fitouts.

Every project is client specific, therefore each job is given an individual response.

Given the outstanding reputation of this boutique studio and ongoing project demands from their high-profile client base, a mid- to senior-level interior designer with a minimum of 4 years’ postgraduate experience and a solid project delivery background, is eagerly sought.

On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Documentation using AutoCAD (including complex joinery details)
  • Client liaison
  • Managing a project from concept through to working drawings
  • General administration and office duties, as required
  • Liaising with suppliers, architects and external consultants

This position is being offered on a long-term, permanent basis and would be ideally suited to a talented and experienced designer who is keen to grow and develop within the practice.

While the practice is in need of quality assistance, only the best of the best will be given the opportunity to progress to the next stage, so it is imperative that you have worked on similar projects and are able to demonstrate your capabilities.

In addition to the criteria listed above, your commitment, positive attitude and passion for high end design are all essential to your success. To express your interest, please forward your resume and portfolio to Kirsten Ellis of Bloomfield Tremayne at kpe@bloomfieldtremayne.com.au or for a confidential chat, please contact the office on (03) 9349 1055 and quote reference M14289.
