Australian Design Review

A well established practice with an experienced team of architects, planners, interior designers and technicians who are committed to producing quality results is currently seeking a design architect. The firm offers complete architectural services including master planning, design, documentation, contract administration, project management, feasibility studies and interior design.

This fundamental role would suit a talented design architect who thrives in a proactive and creative environment and ideally has experience working across a wide variety of projects including commercial, residential, health, aged care and education.

More specifically, you will need to be able to demonstrate your expertise as a well-rounded designer with the ability to manage a project through design, detailed documentation and contract administration. Excellent communication skills are essential with previous experience in a client facing role, as significant liaison with clients and consultants will be required.

The ability to develop innovative and efficient design solutions for project briefs and skills and experience in project management and contract budget management are also required, in addition to the knowledge to develop architectural drawings and design and review consultant drawings for each specific architectural stage of a project.

A serious designer who can work independently and possesses the innate ability to interpret client requests and create a building that is both commercially sound and inspirational would be ideal.

This practice employs a very collaborative design process, so the ability to mentor and direct younger designers will be highly regarded by the directors.
