Mac Interactive Architects create a lightweight form for a family house in New South Wales.
This family house in North Curl Curl is on-site (2009) and these images represent the early stages of a very exciting project for us. A lightweight serpentine form snakes over a rock podium nestled firmly into the landscape. The design is a marriage of the local council controls, the neighbouring buildings, the stunning views and the clients brief.
Interestingly, on this project the client changed mid-way through and we were retained on the project with largely the same building.
