Room11′s Seat House features a sequence of voids to maximise the sense of volume within the project’s small plan.
This project maximises the sense of volume within a small plan by employing multiple voids throughout the house. Each room has an adjacent, private ‘outside room’ allowing pockets of vegetation to become part of the interior of the house.
Except for the entry glazing, all openings into the building are accompanied by a built in seat, allowing the building to act like an extended piece of furniture.
