Proudly recognising the great work of Australian and New Zealand design professionals, the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards celebrate advanced timber application and projects that push the boundaries of normal timber application. Design professionals across the building and landscaping industries are invited to enter innovative projects which showcase creative and visionary use of timber.

With over 100 quality entries received last year and a continued increase in high-calibre entries over the past six years, this year’s entries have started coming in and it looks like it will be another difficult year for the judges.  The two new categories, Public Space and Young Architect, have added the opportunity to discover a collection of new and untapped timber projects.

The judging panel will be made up of leading industry professionals, and winners from each category will receive a $2000 cash prize, Intergrain product to the value of $3000, and highly sought after national exposure.

Entries are open until Tuesday 30 June, there is no entry fee.  The winners will be announced in late August at the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards celebration breakfast to be held in Melbourne.

The 2014 Intergrain Timber Vision Award category winners were: The Commons (Brunswick, VIC) by Breathe Architecture (Commercial Exterior); Nishi (Canberra, ACT) by March Studio (Commercial Interior) (pictured); Stonewood (Melbourne, VIC) by Breathe Architecture (Residential Exterior) (pictured); and Lilyfield Warehouse (Lilyfield, NSW) by Virginia Kerridge Architects (Residential Interior) (pictured).
